Linda Hanton is a registered psychologist who offers a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. She is passionate about supporting adolescents and adults through life’s most challenging moments, using evidence-based treatments tailored to each person’s unique needs.

With a special interest in trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Linda is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an effective intervention for reducing trauma symptoms in individuals who have experienced traumatic events. She also draws on a range of well-established therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy (ET), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), to support clients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, emotion regulation difficulties, perfectionism, and relational challenges.

Before entering private practice, Linda spent over 20 years working with the South Australia Police, where she advocated for vulnerable individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. This frontline experience has deeply informed her trauma-informed practice and her commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and empowering therapeutic space.
