PILATES

Pilates Classes @ Saltfleet Clinic
Our Physio Exercise Pilates programs in Port Noarlunga are highly personalised, with every client receiving an individualised exercise program delivered within small, closely supervised sessions of a maximum of 3 people per physiotherapist instructor.

This semi-private approach allows us to combine the benefits of hands-on clinical expertise with the motivation and structure of a guided class, ensuring your program is tailored specifically to your injury history, pain presentation and functional goals.

Our classes are highly effective for back pain, neck pain, sciatica, hip and pelvic pain, shoulder injuries, postural issues, hypermobility, arthritis and sports injuries. They are also commonly used for rehabilitation following physiotherapy or podiatry treatment to safely rebuild strength, stability and movement control.
Each session focuses on your individual program, with exercises progressing based on your ability or recovery stage. This ensures you are never doing a “one-size-fits-all” class.

Our tailored physio-guided exercise (pilates) classes are designed individually for you by our experienced physiotherapists.
We offer the following types of exercise classes:
-
Regular physio guided exercise
-
Rehabilitation physio guided exercise
-
Pre-natal physio guided exercise
-
Post-natal physio guided exercise
-
Pregnancy physio guided exercise
How do I get started?
We will conduct an initial assessment where your physio will identify your goals and areas for improvement and familiarise you with our exercise studio and equipment.
Then your physio will guide you through your own personalised exercises specific to your needs in our exercise studio space over 1-2 one-on-one sessions.
From there, you’ll be ready to enter our small classes. Class size is capped at 3 people and you will each be working on your own personalised program based on your initial assessment. These classes are designed to ensure you still get plenty of 1:1 time with your physio, so you get the level professional guidance you need.
Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s as a form of exercise designed to improve flexibility, general strength, core strength, posture, coordination and balance whilst increasing control and endurance of the entire body – with your personalised program being catered towards all of these benefits, or any other goals you might have!
