MLS Laser Therapy @ Saltfleet Clinic

What is MLS Laser Therapy?

Multiwave Locked System (MLS) Laser Therapy is a form of Photobiomodulation Therapy, otherwise known as Low Level Laser Therapy or PBMT. Our MLS Laser is an innovative and patented method that delivers therapeutic and analgesic wavelengths simultaneously. This has an efficient effect on pain, inflammation, and oedema.

MLS Laser Therapy is a safe, quick and painless treatment to improve tissue repair, reduce pain and inflammation, and overcome symptoms typical of musculoskeletal pathologies. It has no known side effects and can assist in recovery after surgery, traumas or fractures. MLS Laser Therapy can shorten the time taken to return to the normal activities of everyday life such as work, sports and social life.

Our system is a Class 4 Laser that consists of a pulsed and a continuous emission, simultaneosly treating pain, inflammation and oedema. It requires fewer treatments and has longer lasting results. Laser Therapy is a non-thermal process involving endogenous chromophores eliciting photophysical and photochemical events at cellular, sub-cellular or mollecular levels. This process results in beneficial therapeutic outcomes.

We offer this treatment to patients with painful acute or chronic conditions.

Why Laser Therapy?

MLS laser provides a unique therapeutic pain treatment. It is the only high-powered, hands-free machine with podiatry pre-sets in Australia.
