Dr Ali Wallis | Clinical Psychologist
 

Dr Ali Wallis is a clinical psychologist with 20 years’ experience.

 

She has a background of working in adolescent therapy, disability, research, oncology, and older person’s mental health. She has worked in private practice for 12 years and sees a very diverse group of clients. 

​

She has years of experience working with all people aged 13 years and upwards, and especially enjoys working with adolescents. Her approach and therapy style is warm and caring, using evidence-based tools that suit the individual client. She has training and experience in trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict and health psychology. She uses a mix of CBT, Schema, Trauma and Interpersonal Therapy.

Ali has delivered workshops to schools on anxiety in pre-teens and teens, to women aged 50+ about aging successfully, and to staff teams about conflict resolution and change management. She has run mindfulness sessions for oncology patients and holds a PhD in work stress. 

 

When not at work, Ali likes to hike and ride, travel and camp, read, and be with people she loves.
