Our telehealth service means that if you are unable to attend a face to face appointment then we may be able provide you with a telehealth service instead using video conferencing or phone.
How does it work?
We use encrypted end-to-end technology from leading providers such as Zoom, Skype, Apple Facetime plus our own in-house exercise prescription software to conduct your consultation. Simply make the booking via our website or by giving us a call. We'll then be in touch with instructions on how to get started.
What will I need?
As a minimum you will need access to a reliable phone. However for the full experience we recommend a reliable internet connection, email access and computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
Are there private health or Medicare rebates available?
Medicare and DVA are providing rebates for all allied health patients as per existing EPC or DVA referrals.
Physiotherapy by telehealth at Saltfleet Clinic can now be claimed by most major funds including Medibank, BUPA, NIB, GMHBA, Australian Unity, HBF, Teachers Health, AHM, Police Health, Health Partners, Defence Health. Check with your fund for details specific to your level of cover

For private health rebates for podiatry, dietetics, psychology the situation is changing daily with more private health funds rebating as each day passes. Please check with your fund if a rebate will apply.

Physiotherapy delivered via TELEHEALTH is as easy as:
1. Book Your Free 20 Minute Assessment
Your first 20 minute assessment is FREE. Find out if we can assist your complaint with NO OBLIGATION. Use our convenient online booking system or call 81861963.
2. Get Set Up
We have an easy process for your consultation to occur. We will send you an email with a link to your video consultation. At the time of your consultation out physiotherapist will contact you to initiate the telehealth consultation.
3. First 20 minutes Free
The purpose of the first 20 minutes is for you to explain your condition, pain, complaint so that our physiotherapist can assess how physiotherapy via telehealth may be of assistance. If not there will be no charge. If there is a viable treatment program that you can follow at home then we will schedule your next appointment. Often this will be immediately after your first 20 minute consult.
4. Payment
Payments can be made online via the button above or over the phone (08) 81861963.
5. Telehealth Consult(s)
Once it has been determined that there are things you can do at home we will design and deliver you a personalised program. This will include movements and motion that you will learn via our library of narrated videos. See below for some examples. We have over 4000 different options to draw from to create your personalised program.
