Tom Lancaster | Physiotherapist
An outstanding young physiotherapist, Tom caters for people of all ages, from children to the elderly. He has excellent communication skills, which uses to listen to patients and work with them to understand their needs.
Tom has a special interest in all sports injuries, particularly hip and groin, hamstring and achilles presentations. With excellent knowledge in his field Tom is able to educate patients on their presentation and then implement a collaborative treatment plan comprised of manual therapy, exercise prescription, shockwave therapy or MLS Laser therapy as appropriate.
As well as getting you back to your best, Tom's passion is for sport. He is an integral part of the Sturt Football Club medical team and has worked with the Brisbane Lions, Melbourne Demons and SANFL state team. This has enabled him to work with top-level physiotherapists, sports doctors and orthopaedic surgeons to assess and manage elite sportspeople.
Tom contributes to the community through partnerships with local clubs and gymnasiums where he provides his time and expertise on a regular basis. Outside of work, Tom competes in both amateur and professional middle distance running competitions. He is currently ranked in the top echelon of open 800m runners in South Australia and is a former Bay Sheffield 800m open champion.
